Your creative ingenuity inspired us to use our unique sound to put a different lens on #ThisIsAmerica.
From #Trump and #MakeAmericaGreatAgain to #BlackLivesMatter, #BlueLivesMatter and everything in between, this country has been through so much over the past few years. Society has seen some of it’s biggest advances in #tech with #Tesla, #Amazon, and #BostonDynamics, the beauty of the #RoyalWedding, the atrocities of the #MeToo and #FamiliesBelongTogether movements along with some of the worst #SchoolShootings in history.
In the constantly divisive juxtapositions of #richvspoor, #leftvsright, or #blackvswhite plaguing #massmedia today, it’s important to not lose sight of the things that matter most, (especially this time of year)- our shared, #commonhumanity above anything else.
So thank you #DonaldGlover/#ChildishGambino for bringing awareness through your work; for speaking out, challenging norms and providing a platform for artists and musicians to #befree and think outside the box.
