LIBRICIDE ANNOUNCES FIRST NEW SINGLE, “NOTHING’S MISSING” OFf UPCOMING ALBUM FOR STREAMING RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Libricide Releases New Single “Nothing’s Missing” – A Powerful Anthem on Relationship Struggles and Self-Realization

August 8, 2025 — Rock outfit Libricide is set to release their emotionally charged new single, “Nothing’s Missing,” this Friday, August 8th. Blending raw rock energy with infectious pop sensibility, the track delves into the complexities of maintaining deep relationships with those we love—or have loved—while navigating the ever-present pressure of keeping others happy.

“Nothing’s Missing” captures the moment when one reaches emotional clarity, confronting the exhausting cycle of trying to fix what isn’t broken. With powerful lyrics that plead for acceptance, the song tackles the universal struggle of dealing with insatiable expectations, delivering a resonant message: sometimes, nothing is wrong—some people just can’t stop searching for flaws.

Driven by soaring guitar hooks, anthemic choruses, and an undercurrent of palpable vulnerability, Libricide crafts a sound that’s as introspective as it is stadium-ready. The band’s signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and high-octane rock is on full display, offering listeners a cathartic release wrapped in a compelling pop-rock package.

The song’s visual artistry complements its lyrical depth, incorporating coming-of-age themes that mirror the emotional tug-of-war depicted in the music. It’s a perfect fusion of sonic grit and emotional nuance.

“Nothing’s Missing” was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Nada Recording Studio in Montgomery, NY (My Chemical Romance, Imagine Dragons & more), in collaboration with Libricide Studios in Walden, NY. The track marks a significant milestone in Libricide’s evolving sound, poised to resonate with both long-time fans and new listeners alike.

“This track is about those conversations—sometimes spoken, often unspoken—where you’re trying to convince someone that peace is possible, that we don’t always need to create problems just to feel alive.” — Libricide

“Nothing’s Missing” will be available on all major streaming platforms on Friday, August 8th, 2025.

LIBRICIDE RETURNS TO THE STUDIO TO RECORD NEW ALBUM IN MAY 2025

Things are starting to ramp up for Summer in the LIbricide camp, as in addition to putting on this year’s Hudson Fest (Saturday, May 24th at The Rushing Duck in Chester, NY), the group has booked time to enter the studio in May 2025 to record their follow-up to 2022’s highly regarded Consilience. With Them Without You being their most successful release to date, Libricide are looking to up the ante stylistically while also treating fans to a deeper dive through their sophomore effort.

While there aren’t too many clues as to the nature of this new project beyond these initial rumors, we do know that it is largely acoustic-influenced in nature, but also “not limited strictly to un-amplified or any particular instrumentation”. The group has been spear-heading the project for some time at their own Libricide Studios, and will be doing the record with John Naclerio at Nada Recording Studio in Montgomery, NY (My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, Just Surrender), a stone’s throw away from the Walden-based Libricide.

“This next record is actually going to be an homage to the great feedback we receieved on Them Without You, pretty much our biggest single to date,” says lead singer Harun Gadol, who is also serving as the project’s Executive Producer, much as he did with Consilience and the group’s self-titled debut. “We wanted to give something to our fans, expand our horizons, and explore that part of our sound on a deeper level. Call it our Jar of Flies, our Sap, except with our own wide sphere of influence.”

Stay up to date with the group on their socials as they invariably share the upcoming recording process!
